Sonic Arts laboratory is the main teaching and research space for students and faculty in the Sonic Arts program. The laboratory houses a 16 channel sound diffusion system that can be configured for a range of purposes including high order ambisonics, spatial composition, loudspeaker orchestras, or multichannel sound installations. The laboratory also includes a workstation with advanced sound processing software as well as a variety of microphones and field recording equipment.
