Open Music Lab – A singer’s approach to modern music

Today, singers are asked to perform new music constantly. In this workshop we plan to address the following questions among others:
-How do you approach new music that comes to your hands? What kind of preparation is needed?
-How do you cope with unconventional musical ensembles?
-What is the level of musical stress and how do you cope with stage fright when you perform a premiere?
-What are the challenges performing in a foreign language?
