Müzik: Adventures in C

The performance of Istanbul Coding Ensemble (ICE) and Istanbul Modern Music Ensemble (IMME) will take Terry Riley’s vibrant early minimalist score “In C” to a new dimension. Laptop performers of ICE will perform using salient aspects of live coding and networked music systems enabling improvized dialogues with the performers of IMME; this interpretation expands upon Riley’s original concept which anticipates polyrhythmic interactions and shifting contours that arise organically within the piece.

In cooperation with “İTÜ” and “MIAM”, the event is a part of A Corner in the World x bomontiada ALT.
